[edit]I just found out that his nose is really black, it says so in chapter 5... oh well, I like it blue XD

:rofl: I FAIL! I TOTALLY FAIL!!! I'm sorry, I just can't draw... this is the second rat I've ever drawn and the first one that's even semi-realistic :giggle: and I totally fail! Um, yeah XD this is the description

The second thing in that bowl was a rat. Almost completely black, the small animal had what looked like tiny, light-blue, zigzag streaks running along its back and down its legs. A short stock of fur between its ears and its thick tail glittered the same blue color. Its lean muscles tensed as its glowing blue eyes stared straight into mine.

yeah, so I totally fail at this XD

yeah XD L'Jai is just so awsome (I think so anyway) and I totally fail at drawing him... maybe I should try his human form later or something... just to see if I'll fail at that too XD oh, I couldn't get zigzags going down his legs to look right (because I couldn't even get the legs to look right) so I left that out, and I gave him a blue nose because it wasn't specified and I thought it looked cool XD

I drew this in like, a few minutes XD I dunno how long but I was reading chapter 3 when I did it ;p still am actually, I'm procrastinating on finishing the chapter for some odd readson...

As to the category it's submitted in, I wasn't sure, I mean, L'Jai is an OC from a fanfiction... a fanfiction is a story, but the fanfiction is based off of a cartoon, so yeah, confusing XD

well I used a referance... just for the pose though... and I'm no good at drawing animals, never have been ^^;

Thanks for using my photo as a reference.
I think it is pretty realistic/good...(but thats just cos I can't draw/lineart/whatever). Perhaps if you spent a little bit more time on it or maybe put down chapter 3 ( :D ) while you worked on it :P

Well, it turned out as a pretty good distraction...I mean, your image looks like a rat. If I was to try draw something like that no matter what I used as my reference it would probabaly look like a whale or something (as drawing in any form is not my talent :D )
