Death, murder, genocide,
It all makes you want to run and hide,
Can you name one, two, three, maybe four?
But there are so many, many more.
In Africa, a child dies every three seconds,
While we whine and complain 'bout our adolescence,
And how hard it is to be a teen,
But you have seen nothing compared to what I've seen,
Poverty, grief, working for education,
Some people die 'cause of segregation,
Whatever happened to peace and love?
And other things thought of with the white dove?
Why must the world be this way?
Why can't war just go away?
Blood stains on walls, and bones galore,
This is what happens when there is war,
People killed for no good reason,
It's so sad this is always in season,
Why can't we learn to love each other,
And treat everyone like our brother,
We would be so happy then,
Goodbye, farewell, this is the end
